Carey Cubbyhouse

This is a supportive, educational environment providing a special time and space to engage with your child/ren and meet other parents and carers with children of a similar age.

What is more, it is open to all families from the local community. Why not invite a friend  who would appreciate these activities too?

Carey Cubbyhouse is well used by parents of school aged children who have younger siblings not yet at school – but this is not just a place for William Carey parents. If you are new to South West-Sydney or seek a stimulating environment for you and your child to fill in a Wednesday or Friday morning, then the Cubbyhouse may be your answer.

This is a playgroup for parents and carers of children 0-5 years old.  We meet:

Wednesday and Friday mornings

 9:00 am – 10:30 am

Parking: Available on William Carey Christian School grounds (front car park of the main school entrance)

Venue: Our room is a school classroom equipped with great resources and amenities.

Supervision: Each parent/carer is responsible for the care of their own child/ren. In addition, a facilitator will be present at all times.

Cost: NIL (*) The school is pleased to meet a need in our local community.

(*) From time to time a collection may be made to offset costs of special morning teas.

What happens in the time? Under the direction of the facilitator, parents and carers will supervise their children as they engage in free-play, have fun along-side other similar aged children, listen to stories and dance along to music. They are encouraged to be creative, enjoy craft activities and develop their fine motor skills. Parents have time to talk to other grown-ups and enjoy a morning tea.

Facilitator: Mrs Anne Belling (William Carey Director of Early Learning)
