Free HSC Study Sessions Western Sydney University Free HSC Study Sessions will be in the July School Holidays. These are run by experienced HSC teachers to help year 12 students excel in their HSC exams and assessments. Each session includes workshops that are structured around the subject syllabus. Parent Information Evening Western Sydney University Parent Information Evenings will be held at the Campbelltown and Parramatta South campuses. These evenings provide parents, guardians, and students the opportunity to discover everything they need to know about university.  Dates: Campbelltown Campus 9 May -Parramatta South Campus 13 June. Defence Force Recruiting Information Sessions Find out about the variety of roles and opportunities on offer with the Australian Defence Force. Current serving personnel will be available to answer any questions about career paths and entry requirements for the Army, Navy and Air Force. Soar Aviation Open Evening – Thursday 9th May 6:30pm (Bankstown Airport) Learn more about a career in Aviation at a Soar Aviation Open Evening. Get an understanding of the AVI50215 Diploma of Aviation (Commercial Pilot Licence – Aeroplane) course, employment pathways and tour the facility, including a close-up inspection of the training aircraft. ASMR NSW High Schools Careers Day, Friday 7 June 2019 Students (Years 10-12) are invited to hear from medical sciences professionals about what it takes to start a career in the Medical Sciences sector. Engineering Cadets combine university study in engineering or technology with paid work at Cubic Transportation Systems. Applications close on 21 June. Macquarie Leaders and Achievers, New Early Entry Program, Macquarie University Macquarie Leaders and Achievers is our new early entry program that recognises a student’s academic performance alongside their extracurricular activities that demonstrate leadership, community service and personal achievement. ACU – Community Achiever Program The Community Achiever Program offers students who are active in their community early entry to their course of choice. It also provides opportunities to enhance leadership skills. If a student is successful in applying for the CAP, they could receive an offer to study with us as early as August. Work experience opportunities available for STEM students The NSW Surveying Task Force is calling Careers Advisers who know students who love maths, geography, IT and the outdoors.
