What transport options are available to and from WCCS?

Does WCCS have an enrolment period?

No, you are welcome to enrol your child at any time of the year. If spaces are available in your chosen grade, your child may be able to start immediately, otherwise, he or she will be placed on our waiting list. Applications for Prep and Kindergarten can be made at any age, however, we recommend you apply as early as possible in order to secure your child’s place as positions are offered in order of application date.

How old does my child have to be to attend Prep School?

Prep School is for the year prior to Kindergarten. Your child must turn 4 by the end of May in the year before school in order to be eligible.

How old does my child have to be to attend Kindergarten?

Your child must turn 5 by the end of May in the year in which he or she attends Kindergarten.

How can WCCS cater for my child who has additional needs and requires support?

If your child has additional needs, whether physical or intellectual, please outline this in the additional needs form in your application pack. You may be required to attend a pre-enrolment interview to discuss how WCCS can cater for your child’s needs. You can also see our learning support page for more information.

What time does school start and finish?

The school day starts at 8:35 am and finishes at 3:10 pm.

Does WCCS have a canteen?

WCCS has a healthy canteen that is available for students from Kindergarten through to Year 12. The canteen managers endeavour to minimise the additives and preservatives used in many of the products that are available; and the serving sizes reflect the recommendations for healthy eating portions. The WCCS canteen also has many gluten-free options. Canteen orders are placed using the Munch Monitor system.
