Ancient Italy and 20th Century Germany Study Tour

William Carey Christian School is again proposing to offer a study tour to Italy and Germany in April 2020. This 15-day itinerary visits the Bay of Naples, Rome, Munich, Nuremberg and Berlin with a focus on sites relevant to the HSC Ancient History and Modern History units of study.

Students who will be in Years 10, 11 or 12 in 2020 are invited to participate in the study tour.

As in 2018, we are intending to run this tour with Academy Travel, an Australian-based company specialising in school group tours. Working closely with staff at the school, they will develop and manage a program specifically designed for our students.

The first step in getting the tour off the ground is to gauge the level of serious interest among students and their family. We must receive at least 20 registrations of interest before an information evening is organised to provide further details and to answer questions. If 20 registrations of interest are received, the information night will run in late Term 1/early Term 2. Early registrations of interest are appreciated so we can book the information night with Academy Travel as soon as possible.

Please read through the attached flyer, particularly the sections on cost and inclusions.

If you are genuinely interested in the tour, are able to pay and are interested in finding out more, please email your details and interest by the end of Term (Friday 12th April).
