There has been a lot happening in P-2 this term!
We started with the P-2 Fun Run in Week 2, where students jumped over hurdles, kicked soccer balls and ran a whole lap of Turner Field! Many students particularly enjoyed the egg and spoon and sack activities.
In Week 4, parents visited the Kindergarten classrooms to see how much Kindergarten students have learned since starting school.
Year 1 have been busy conducting experiments and watching how materials change when heated and cooled. They are also looking forward to an excursion to Mount Annan Botanical Gardens in Term 3.
Year 2 have visited Wollondilly Heritage Historical Centre to investigate what counted as technology 100 years ago in Australia. Students washed clothes by hand, ate pikelets cooked on a wood-burning stove and wrote on slates in a classroom.
