Year 8 enjoyed their annual medieval day in week seven.
It was a great opportunity for students to learn about everyday life in the medieval period through hands on activities. Creativity and historical inquiry abounded as students created their own medieval feasts and costumes.
Activities for the day included jousting, heraldry, apple bobbing and medieval games.
The students also engaged in a medieval performance run by James Adams Historical Enterprises. Activities in the performance included story-telling and re-enactments using authentic medieval weapons.
