Today is the 2015 NATIONAL DAY OF ACTION against bullying and violence.

William Carey is a registered school supporting and participating in this important day. Our Primary school children have been involved in NDA class activities today, which will also continue through next week. Activities vary for each year. Years 1-6 completed a colouring in page and Years 5 and 6 received a laminated “go to card” for their purse/wallet.

The Primary Quad has the big anti bullying banners up and everyone in Primary, children and staff, is wearing a NDA wristband, which reads “Bullying. No way. TAKE A STAND TOGETHER”. The day will finish with a film in assembly.

We must all take a stand against bullying and violence; we can make a difference.
