Mrs Beverley-Ann Bent, Library Technician
I am delighted, privileged and truly blessed to have been given the opportunity to join the staff of William Carey Christian School this year as a Library Technician. I feel that God’s time and planning was perfect for me to have this career change and be able to devote more time to my children. I come from a long career of 25 years in Information Technology so this is big change for me, but I am absolutely loving working in this beautiful Christian environment especially because of the wonderful Library staff I work with and the interactions with all the children, staff and parents who visit the Library.
I love music, theatre, sports and movies and am actively involved in Church worship and my children’s sporting activities. Above all Christ is the centre of my life and I look forward to what He has in store for me at William Carey and how I can use the talents He has blessed me with.
Mrs Robyn Geeves, Music Teacher
It is wonderful to be back at William Carey for another year. The last time I taught an extended block was for Mrs Randall, teaching Italian, this time I am teaching Music, my first qualification and my passion. This year I look forward to continuing the great work that Mrs Starra has planned, which includes working with the Senior and Junior Bands and hosting A Little Night Music, on June 17. Thank you for your continuing support for the Arts at WCCS, I encourage interested musical students to get involved and hope for an enthusiastic audience at the concert in June!
Mrs Jodie Whybird, School Nurse
I am very happy to be joining WCCS this year as a School Nurse. Having past experience as a Critical Care Registered Nurse in the public hospital system, I’m looking forward to adapting my skills to a Christian educational environment. Assisting students to achieve optimal health and wellbeing is a privilege. I look forward to meeting people and being part of the William Carey community.
