Grandparent’s Day/Book Week
It’s all happening this term!  In week two we have book week, which culminates in Grandparent’s Day on the Friday.  There will be the usual book fair, with a great variety of books on sale.  We will also be going back to some of the good old classics, with our grandparent community enjoying a book parade on the Friday.  Please check the Newsletter information for details of times and locations.

It’s a Boy!
For those who haven’t heard, Mrs Hart was blessed with the safe arrival of a little boy last week – Kyren Anthony Hart.  We praise God for this wonderful news.

School Photos – Parent Input Required
As you will recall, we asked for feedback from families regarding school photos.  Mr Hudson and I met with the photography company and went through all of the feedback with them.  The meeting was very productive, with a number of changes decided upon.  I will inform you of some of these decisions in coming Newsletters.  However, we need your input.  We currently receive the photo packages based on the booklet format.  There are a number of other formats available, similar to the traditional style of school photos, produced on photo quality paper.  For the next few weeks, we will have samples of each style in the Uniform Shop.  Please take the time to drop in, view the different styles and state your preference.  From there, we will tally the votes and inform the photography company.  It is essential that parents engage in this process, as you are the ones receiving the finished product.

We are currently very busy working on plans for 2018.  We are considering staffing, classing, rooming and the many other things that need to be organised before the year ends.  As always, we would greatly appreciate your prayers, as we seek to make all arrangements to the best of our ability.

Did you know we are looking to open a third Prep class in 2018?  There is more information about Prep available here, however, in simple terms, it would be a Monday to Wednesday class, operating in the same building, with the same facilities, etc.  It is very exciting to see our Prep department growing in this way.  If you would like to know more, please speak with our Enrolments Department.
