NAPLAN

Each year, all students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 in Australian schools are assessed on the same days using national tests in Reading, Writing, Language Conventions (Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation) and Numeracy.

William Carey Christian School encourages all students to sit for this external exam. This program is an important tool, as it allows the school and parents/carers to see areas of strength and weakness in each student when results are sent to the school later in the year. Teachers of each student in these grades can see their progress and know where to focus future teaching time on an individual basis.

The school’s previous results can be found on the My School website.
