Congratulations to the WCCS Class of 2019, who achieved outstanding HSC results! Our students received 49 Band 6 results across 15 different courses.
Additionally, two of our students were publicly recognised for their achievements. Jaanvi Jogia was included on the NESA All-Rounders List for receiving a Band 6 result in 10 or more units of study, and Franco Scarcella was listed as a Top Achiever in Construction for ranking 4th in the course in NSW. Congratulations to Jaanvi, Franco and their dedicated teachers on these excellent results!
Although we cannot possibly list the personal best results and growth areas of all of our Year 12 students, we would like to highlight the achievements of the following students who received ATARs over 90 in the 2019 HSC:

Each year, all students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 in Australian schools are assessed on the same days using national tests in Reading, Writing, Language Conventions (Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation) and Numeracy.
William Carey Christian School encourages all students to sit for this external exam. This program is an important tool, as it allows the school and parents/carers to see areas of strength and weakness in each student when results are sent to the school later in the year. Teachers of each student in these grades can see their progress and know where to focus future teaching time on an individual basis.
The school’s previous results can be found on the My School website.
