Earlier this term, as a part of their studies, Year 9 visited Kurnell and Cronulla Beach. A wonderful day was had by all, below is an extract of a reflection piece, written by one of the students.
“The sun was beaming down, the wind rustled leaves and waves crashed against the sand. It was a good day for a Geography excursion to the beach. Our day was filled with drawing transects and answering questions but we also managed to have a picnic lunch at the park and some fun in the sand.
It was great to go out into God’s great world and learn more about the coastal environment, a blessing to learn outside the classroom under the guidance of our teachers” – Cayley Sartor
