High School cyclists have a new bike rack at the front of the school to complement the one installed at the back of the school earlier this year. The idea for racks came from up last year when Andrei in Year 12 approached an SLC member about the need. The SLC drove the process to obtain Senior Executive approval for a workable proposal. Year 12 Construction students laid the slab behind the cricket nets as part of fulfilling their syllabus requirements.
We are thankful to CCS for funding the new racks and the Maintenance team for the installation. Parental permission to the school is not needed for High School students to ride. Helmets (as per road rules) and a chain for security are a must. Parents of Primary students who wish to ride to school should talk to Mr Burgess.
